Unlimited overseas medical & dental

If you get injured or sick while enjoying these activities overseas, we’ve got you covered with unlimited overseas medical care emergency dental treatment and evacuation. 

Adventure Activities Equipment Cover

We’ll also cover loss, theft or damage to your adventure activites gear (up to $2,000 per adult on International policies and up to $1,000 per adult on Domestic policies), and even help with the cost to hire replacement equipment if yours is delayed or lost.

  • Abseiling
  • Aerial acrobatics, using silks, hammocks, straps or trapeze at a professional studio
  • An amateur tournament or competition for any automatically covered activity
  • Animal conservation and handling
  • Coasteering
  • Falconry
  • Horse riding (polo or jumping)
  • Parascending over sand
  • Rock climbing outdoors – not mountaineering
  • Sky diving
  • Trekking Everest Base Camp
  • Trekking the Kokoda Track
  • Trekking up to 6,000 meters altitude
  • Water Sports
  • Breathing observation bubble diving (maximum depth thirty (30) meters)
  • Canoeing/kayaking/rafting (grades 4–5, if with a professional guide or tour)
  • Cascading
  • Cave tubing or river tubing
  • Deep sea fishing (more than two (2) nautical miles off a land mass)
  • Dragon boating
  • Hydrospeeding
  • Jet skiing
  • Kitesurfing
  • Motorised watercraft (that is not a cruise)
  • Paragliding/parascending/parasailing (over water)
  • Sailing/yachting/motor cruising (outside territorial waters, on a professional charter)
  • Scuba diving (limited to thirty (30) metres with a qualified instructor for unqualified divers)
  • Scuba diving (limited to qualified divers up to a maximum depth of fifty (50) metres, not diving alone
  • Swimming races, more than ten (10) kilometres and up to a distance of twenty-five (25) kilometres

  • Road biking (more than twenty-five (25) kilometres in one day)

Adventure Activities Cover doesn’t include professional competitions, stunts, or situations where safety rules or gear aren’t followed. Cover is not available for medical, hospital, ambulance and dental costs incurred in Australia or in Australian waters.
