Once you receive your PassportCard, you can use the card number to add it to a digital wallet like Apple or Google Wallet.
Make sure you still carry your physical card with you on your trip as digital payments may not be accepted everywhere.

How to add the PassportCard to your digital wallet
- Open Apple Wallet
- Press the + in the top right
- Select Debit or Credit Card
- Enter the card details on your PassportCard
- Follow the prompts

The digital PassportCard can be used to pay for 3 types of approved claims, subject to the country and merchant acceptance.
Medical costs
It can be used for payments at medical providers that accept NFC “tap and go” payments.
Delayed luggage
You can withdraw the cash at ATMs that are NFC “tap and go” enabled cash withdrawals.
Stolen Cash
You can withdraw the cash at ATMs that are NFC “tap and go” enabled cash withdrawals.
As the NFC “tap and go” technology is not accepted by all merchants worldwide, we recommend that you also carry your physical card with you.
Yes, you can add the digital card to Samsung devices but note it is not available on Samsung Pay. You can add to a Google Wallet on your Samsung device.
Whilst widely accepted by most merchants and ATMs in Australia, the NFC “tap and go” technology is still not widely available worldwide. We recommend that you carry your physical card with you so have the option to use it if digital payment is not available.
