What’s Included in our Pet Care Cover

Cancellation or Trip Disruption Before You Travel

If your pet (domestic cat or dog) falls suddenly and seriously ill or passes away before your journey begins, we’ll cover: 

  • Up to $3,000 per adult Insured Person (up to $6,000 in total) for rearrangement or non-refundable trip costs.

This includes flights, accommodation, prepaid tours, and more. 

Pet Boarding Cover

If your final return leg is delayed by more than 12 hours due to weather, strikes, or mechanical breakdown: 

 

  • We’ll cover up to $1,000 for additional fees for pet boarding, kennels, or pet-sitting services. 

 

Fast Claims

We understand emergencies don’t wait. That’s why we aim to process eligible claims quickly, especially when it comes to your pets. Just make sure to: 

  • Provide vet documentation 
  • Submit proof of delays from your airline or cruise provider

Type of Pets we cover in our Pet Care Cover

Our Pet Care Cover applies only to domestic cats and dogs. Exotic animals, birds, reptiles, or other pet types are not eligible for this cover.
